For G&B in September we’ll be taking you to Germany and Austria for some fantastic alpine wines, as part of out Oktoberfest celebrations.

Due to the incoming heatwave we are sadly cancelling this year’s dog show. We’ll hopefully find a new date later in the year for this fantastic event.


THE KITE DOG SHOW RETURNS 🐩

On Monday 25th May we’ll be open from 12pm, with the dog show award ceremony taking place at 2pm.

This year we'll also be serving up hot dogs (the food) in the garden, and have live music from Roisin McNeill in the afternoon.

Entry to the dog show is £5 per dog, and includes a raffle ticket entry too. All proceeds from this will be donated to The Dogs Trust.

Do I need a ticket?

No, all dog entries are paid for on the day

How do I enter my dog into the dog show?

Registration is open from 12pm-1.30pm on the day. Just bring your dog and get signed up. It is £5 per category, with a maximum of 2 categories per dog.

Will there be food available?

Yes, we are serving hot dogs in the garden from 12.30pm-5 or when we sell out

What is the plan if it is hot?

The dog show will be held in the shade under our stretch tent, and we will have dog ice creams and a hydration station on the day

How long does the dog show run?

The show is from 2pm until 4ish

Ever sat in a pub in Ireland when there’s some riproaring folk musicians just jamming at the back of the bar?

That’s what we’ll be bringing to Kite on Wednesday 13th May, when we host our first folk music session in the bar. Expect a range of English folk music from Taz Tarry and his compatriots.

This isn’t a formal gig, but you can guarantee the perfect pub atmosphere for an early spring evening.

Spot of live music on this Saturday to accompany your bank holiday weekend. Lewis Simons will be performing from 8pm.

Lewis’ set comprises of a blend of contemporary, country and classic songs alongside his own original material. His performance spans artists such as Johnny Cash, Chris Stapleton and Zach Bryan, all the way through to Queen and Teddy Swims.
